We need four hugs a day for survival.
We need eight hugs a day for maintenance.
We need twelve hugs a day for growth.

I’m a hugger and a kisser. So when I first heard this saying, I felt confident I was growing in my life:-) Seriously, I hug co-workers when I leave for a work trip or people I know when I walk into the class I take at the gym or even a potential client after our first consultation.
I realize that this isn’t the norm for some people. It might even feel odd to watch me hug others so much. But, what if we could open ourselves up more to this kind of daily affection in various areas of our lives? What could it stir up inside of you and inside of another?
