Want to take your workouts and your training to the next level?
Find a way to add self-myofascial release to your daily routine. We struggle to find balance in our lives and alignment in our bodies. Becoming aware of your posture, your breath, how you sit, stand and walk will help you find balance and restore tissue health.
Myofascial release (MFR) focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness.
The goal of MFR is to stretch and loosen the fascia (i.e., connective tissue beneath the skin) so that it and other contiguous structures can move more freely. MFR will help improve joint range of motion, increase blood flow and nutrients to our connective tissue while allowing your body to move better without pain and dysfunction. When your tissues are clear of debris and aches and pains, we feel better, breathe better and look better!
We constantly push ourselves to the limit and this can lead to damage and disease.
If you work hard and play hard, you need to REST just as hard.
Take time to rest, recover and restore your tissue health. Adding 10-15 minutes of MFR to your workouts can make a world of difference and prepare you for the next trip to the gym. Use these techniques when you are aching, before and after exercise and when you need to just relax! We have nothing without our health so enjoy taking care of YOU whenever YOU want to!
